so some ex-jws and i were at dinner last night talking about how some of the ones baptized this year were so young.

a few under the age of 10!!

can you imagine if a kid got dfd at that age.... would the congregation shun them?

i wrote a letter some time ago and to my surprise and despite the elders manual saying that a letter is sufficient for establishing 'wrongdoing' they would not announce me as no longer a jw until i met with 2 elders to verbally acknowledge that the letter was written by me.. .

well yesterday i met with them and the meeting lasted 2 minutes.

i agree! all i know is i would NEVER ignore a child, even if i was still IN i know i may have been brainwashed but i never would have shunned a kid, hell even if i was a regular pioneer, id openly support that kid

Getting dfd at 12 and 14 and having an entire congregation ignore you is beyond me.... i can't even. If that had happened in my congregation i would have left a long time ago

I just can't imagine ignoring a kid at the kingdom hall for being dfd. And why the heck would the organization allow anyone under the age of 18 be baptized.

So some Ex-Jws and I were at dinner last night talking about how some of the ones baptized this year were so young. A few under the age of 10!! Can you imagine if a kid got dfd at that age.... would the congregation shun them? Would they be allowed to play with their friends??? So screwed up. That would ruin them mentally. Whats the youngest person you've known to get disfellowshipped?

The Unbelievable Just Happened!

something uneblievable just happened.. i am pomo for a while not too long though.

while we were away (i and my best friend for the weekend), i received several texts from my 2 friends, from my ex-cong ,who are pimi(but starting to have doubts) who have been asking me questions about the jdubs.the texts seemed quite urgent n serious, so got the lowdown .at the weekend meeting , 3 families walked out!.

Gosh I'm waiting for the day some of my friends wake up! i grew up a JW so had no outside friends. so i dont have many friends or family for that matter, they are all JW and im DFD so they have nothing to do with me. But i'm NOT going back, id rather die alone then fake it thru the crazy cult.

Something I just realized!

now that i'm out if i ever do find someone and settle down and start a family, my parents wont be a part of it.

my dad wont walk me down the isle if i get married, if i have kids they wont know their grandparents.

oh and by the way i had my freaking tubes tied so as not to have kids in this system.

many of you have asked about my story, so here it is.

it's a bit long lol.

however i still loved jeremy but because he wasn’t a witness i knew i could never be with him and have my family.

thank you everyone for the kind words and suggestions. I agree that i should take things slow and not jump back into anything else to quickly and learn who i am and what i want. I dont want to fall into the same pattern as before
